Система высшего медицинского образования Казахстана находится в процессе перехода к моделям обучения, основанным на формировании компетенций и ориентированным на интеграцию теоретической подготовки с практической деятельностью на рабочих местах. Дуальное образование, сочетающее академическое обучение со структурированной практической подготовкой на профессиональных базах, рассматривается как перспективный подход к развитию прикладных компетенций в программах по общественному здравоохранению. При этом остается ограниченной систематическая оценка внедрения данного подхода в медицинских университетах.

Kazakhstan's higher medical education system has been transitioning toward competency-based learning models that emphasize integration between theoretical instruction and workplace practice. Dual education, which combines academic coursework with structured training at professional sites, represents a promising strategy for developing practical competencies in Public Health programs. However, systematic evaluation of its implementation in medical universities remains limited.
