Author Guidelines

When sending articles to the editor, the author must comply with the following:

  1. The imprint must include: the initials and surnames of the authors, the title of the work, the name of the institution where it was completed, the city.
  2. The article must include: a summary (no more than 5-6 lines), keywords (1-2 lines). If the article is in Russian, the summary must be presented in Kazakh and English and vice versa. The original article must include the relevance, purpose, materials and methods, research results, conclusions, literature. The size of the original article (including all specified sections) must not exceed 8 pages; for a review - 10 pages.
  3. The article must be signed by all authors. The following must be indicated: the first name, patronymic, last name of each author, address, work and home phone numbers.
  4. Articles by foreign authors translated into Russian are signed by the translator. The text of the article, formulas, doses, numbers must be carefully verified by the author. 5. The article should be typed on a computer in Word for Windows, in Times New Roman font, kg. 12, with 1.0 line spacing, with margins at the top, bottom and right of 2 cm, and at the left of 4 cm. Articles can be submitted in Kazakh, Russian and English.
  5. Tables and figures should be presented in the text as they are mentioned. In the article, figures or tables are presented in accordance with the SI system of units. Figure captions are given at the bottom. They include: the title of the figure, an explanation of the names of all curves, letters, numbers and symbols. The amount of graphic material should be minimal (no more than 2-3); graphs, charts and diagrams should be contrasting, clear and should not be overloaded with text inscriptions.
  6. Tables should be compact, have a title, and their headings should exactly match the content of the graphs. Tables should not duplicate graphs; abbreviations of words in tables are not allowed. Tables should be titled and numbered. All mathematical formulas must be carefully verified. Photo tables are not accepted.
  7. Only abbreviations generally accepted in world practice are allowed (for example, CNS, ECG). In other cases, the first time a term is mentioned, its full name is given, in brackets - an abbreviation (abbreviation), then the abbreviation is used in the text.
  8. The list of references is given on a separate sheet, in the text in square brackets - the serial number of the source in the order of mentioning the cited literature. The number of sources in the article should not exceed 15, in the literature review - 50, for the past 5-10 years.

If several works by one author are mentioned, they should be listed in ascending order of publication year. An article written by a team of authors (more than 4 people) is placed in the list of references by the last name of the first author and two more authors are indicated, then etc. If there are only 4 authors, then all authors are indicated.

After the authors' names, the full title of the article, source, year, volume, issue, pages from and to are given. For books and collections, the exact title, city, publisher, year are required.

A monograph written by a group of authors (more than 4 people) is listed by the book title, then the names of three authors are indicated through a slash, and then "et al."

In monographs by foreign authors published in Russian, after the title, the language from which the translation was made is indicated through a colon.

The surnames and all initials of foreign authors in the text are given in foreign transcription.

References to unpublished works, including abstracts and dissertations, WHO working documents, are not allowed.

  1. Articles that are not formatted in accordance with the specified rules are returned to the authors without consideration.
  2. An article that does not correspond to the journal section is returned to the author and the editorial board of the journal is not responsible for its publication.
  3. Manuscripts not accepted for publication are not returned to the authors.
  4. The date of receipt of an article is considered to be the time of receipt of its final (revised) version.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.

  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).

  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.

Privacy Statement

Specified when registering the names and addresses will be used solely for technical purposes of a contact with the Author or reviewers (editors) when preparing the article for publication. Private data will not be shared with other individuals and organizations.
